Since May 2003 existence “Love Quilts – stitching for a child’s smile”. Tanja Benninghoff brought this idea from America to Germany.
The idea is to bring a smile on the face of spezial children and of course the parents. It’s just to let the parents know that there are a few people who are prepared to make “Love Quilts”, especially for their child.
With this project a real landslide of interest has begun with very positive reactions from parents of special children who are extremely happy, that some people do something for their children nil paid. Tanja is very happy about this.
The “Love Quilts” are sewn from a few wonderful women.
The whole project is financed out of their own pockets and also people who donate cloth, which helps very much.
Until 2007 tanni had organized all alone, but now to be sure all the children get their quilts more helpers do this together.

It is also been thought about the brother and sisters. When you want to help there, it doesn’t always to be cross stitching.
